In a nutshell, I was playing around with the Magic Set Editor program found online, and ended up making a few cards based off of various comic, anime, etc. characters. And here's the first of the bunch: Deadpool.
The activated ability kinda reflects his nature to work for whoever pays him well enough (I hope). But what I had the most fun in putting together was the flavor text. Medium awareness is part of Deadpool's shtick, so I thought it'd be nice to have him take a swing at the very concept of a Deadpool Magic card.
...at least, that's what I was thinking when I put this together.
2/9/12 EDIT: Reworked his rules text to better reflect his "works for the highest bidder" mentality. This also meant having to cut back on the flavor text in order to make it legible...
Also: changed the expansion symbol.
